Description
The vegetation area of the Persian Gulf and Oman includes part of the southwest and all the southern coasts of the country. Due to the harsher climatic conditions, the forests of this region have less species diversity than the Hyrkani, Arsbaran and Zagros regions, but this issue does not mean that this vegetation is less important. Because this area constitutes about 80% of the country’s forests and is in serious danger due to industrial developments, unprincipled harvesting of resources, lack of supervision and encroachment and encroachment on nature.
